Long Term Rust Preventative Oil Solvent Storage Compound is recommended for newly machined surfaces, threaded connections, Castings, tools, pipes, dies, chucks, Drill rods, moulds, bearings, shafts, Pistons, cylinders, valves, keys, auto components, Spindles, measuring instruments, fasteners, impellers, metal parts, fabricated components and equipment, particularly for shipping where rust and corrosion are a frequent problem. It is especially effective in protecting grinded or highly polished steel surfaces. Also, recommended for application to finished machined surfaces on tools while inventory for medium term storage. Suitable for dipping and spraying, it is perfect for rust prevention of machine parts like bearings
