Features
- Water‑white, PAO/silica dielectric connector grease gel designed to prevent fretting wear, moisture ingress, water intrusion, or oxidation and corrosion on electrical contacts and connectors.
- Excellent dielectric strength; protects low‑power signal contacts
- MAAX MA480 seals electrical contacts from oxygen, moisture, aggressive gasses and other hostile elements
- Very low oil separation and evaporation at 100 °C
- Resists salt spray and water washout and copper‑deactivated
- Smooth NLGI #2 Grease and stable penetration after shear
- It minimizes metal-to-metal wear, protecting the contact from fretting corrosion
- Compatible with most plastics and elastomers typically used in connectors and metal free
Application
MAAX MA480 Di-Electric Connector Grease is designed for multi‑pin automotive, telecom, consumer, and industrial connectors.
MAAX MA480 Di-Electric Grease solve commercial vehicle manufacturers vehicle electrical related issues because of its water spray resistance and corrosion protection to extend the life of their battery, starter & alternator terminals, and ground straps.
Broadly used in Brake Lights and Powertrain, Braking, and Suspension Control Modules, Alternator, Control Wiring Harness, Sensors Connections, Fuel Injectors, Input Shaft Sensor for Hybrid Transmissions, Engine Power Distribution Module Terminal, Compressors, other electrical equipment, wires, cables, and electrical circuits found in use throughout the electric power generation and distribution industries, LV electrical connections in control panels for gas and wind turbines to MV (up to 50KV) circuit breaker contacts.
Prevents fretting and improves reliability in low‑current circuits. Generally compatible with common connector plastics/elastomers (ABS, PA66, PBT‑GF, PC, EPDM,NBR)
Avoid applying before solder/reflow and apply after finishing connectors
